Shipping & Delivery
Your order will be delivered First class via Royal Mail within 3-5 working days or your order being placed. During busy times this may be longer. Please do check the front page of my website to make sure delivery times have not changed. All items are securely packaged by using jiffy bags. I will try to keep the cost down by recycling envelopes where possible. This keeps the postage cost low.
Returns & Replacements
All my handmade cards are produced to the highest quality. If, however, you receive goods that do not meet your expectations for whatever reason, you can return them in an unused condition within 14 days for a refund or exchange. To request a return, please email carly@cardsbycarly.co.uk. Please state your invoice number and/or name and address and the reason for the return. I recommend you obtain a free 'Certificate of Posting' from the Post Office when you return your item. I cannot accept responsibility for returns lost or damaged in the post. The goods must be returned unused and in its original condition for a refund. If unwanted goods are not in a saleable condition then a refund will not be provided. Refunds will be made by cheque sent to you within 7 days of receipt of the returned item. Delivery charges and return postage charges are non refundable unless the goods are faulty. Unfortunately I cannot refund goods which are personalised, made to order or customised in any way unless they are faulty, as they are not able to be resold. In the unusual event that your product is faulty or was damaged in transit, please email carly@cardsbycarly.co.uk. On receipt of the faulty goods I will send you a replacement or provide you with a refund. I will also reimburse your return postage costs. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Ordering
You can order cards via the website. Click on the card you would like to order and add it to your basket, you are able to edit the quantity from the basket. Once you have finished this process click on check out and follow the instructions from there. If you would like to place an order over the phone then please leave your details through the contact me page and I will get back to you. You can also email me any specific requirements you have and I will endeavour to meet your needs.
Payment, Pricing & Promotions
Payment can be made through Paypal, or by cheque. Please allow enough time for your cheque to clear if you would prefer to pay this way. Promotions will occur from time to time, please check the front page for information on any promotions which may take place.
Viewing Orders
You can view orders you have made by registering by going to the My Account" page and following the instructions from there.
Privacy Policy
"Personal data" is any data that identifies you. Personal data which you supply to me you agree will be true, complete and accurate in all respects. I will deal with your personal data in compliance with the current UK Data Protection legislation. I collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. The type of information I will collect about you includes your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. If at any time you would like to see the information I hold about you please contact me and I will be happy to update my records as you wish. If there are any inaccuracies I will amend my records without delay. Please note this applies only to CardsByCarly.co.uk not to other companies or organisations websites to which I link. All data will be collected, processed and used by CardsByCarly for the purposes of providing the on line sales services to you. Your data may be processed and used by other organisations on my behalf for the purposes of providing the on-line sales services to you and for no other purpose. Use of information will remain under the control of CardsByCarly at all times. I will only disclose personal data to a party to the transaction only to assist your transaction and for no other purpose. Information provided on this site may be held and used by me for any of the following purposes:
  • Order processing
  • Administration of customer's orders
  • Managing your account with CardsByCarly efficiently (e.g. handling queries, sending bills to you)
  • Dealing with enquiries or complaints
  • Crime and fraud prevention

Sensitive personal data - We neither collect nor have access to any 'sensitive personal data' as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998.
Cookies - Cookies are pieces of information that are stored by your Internet browser on your computer's hard drive. Your browser ensures that cookies set by CardsByCarly.co.uk will only be visible to CardsByCarly.co.uk so no third party would be able to access them. Cookies are necessary to be able to store items in your shopping basket during your shopping session. I also use cookies to track how my site operates and how it is used.
